Subject: Never Mind the Pritsticks, here's the McMadmeet !!! (final
part) ........Hiya yet again & now for the final
part............
On arrival in Edinburgh I made sure that
whoever was to get on the bus next would get the Vote for Fred message (yes, I
had a few fliers left !). Once I got off the bus I had to head straight to the
toilet - must have ate a dodgy chip the night before :o).
Before I jumped on the train home I popped into HMV
& saw a guy looking at "Wonderful"
so I felt it was my duty to talk him into buying it
(which he did !) & also took the opportunity to present him with a flier -
so hopefully he'll be Voting for Fred too !!!
Got the train to Kirkcaldy, where my good lady
picked me up & for the record she was cool about me not getting home from
Glasgow (she's a good 'un !). THE END.
All in all it was a brilliant day (apart from the
prit stick :o) & one which MUST be repeated !!! - & ..."if only one
person buys the single as a result of our efforts then it will have been a
success".....one things for sure, the shoppers & pub goers in Glasgow were
left in no doubt about who Fred is & what our purpose was. We managed to
generate a fair bit of interest &, as Stoo says, Madness fans of old, TFI
viewers (& those just curious), as well as the shoppers / pub goers all now
know that there is another top class single on it's way - now that can only be
good eh ??
