Indeed a few maddies ended up very ripped-off and I was one of them! A local
festival in Holland had "Madness" ("from the UK" it said) as there
headliner. We already went there with a little doubt, but after a whole day
of beer drinking the crowd went crazy when a stupid coverband entered the
stage (calling themselves Madness). After a few songs the speaker came on
stage and said the band wouldn't play anymore because they felt "threatned"!
What can you expect when you promise Madness and instead you get a cover
band!
Let's all hope it's the real Madness and than we'll meed up for another
madmeet

What news have you heard to confirm that Madness will indeed play in
Belgium?
I hope that the lads decide to play as it will give some of the mainland
Europe Maddies a chance to catch the boys without the cost of huge travel
expenses.
Shall I ask Bedders again? The last time I did, he denied any knowledge of
the band playing in Belgium.
