That was the official reaason for them not participating in the Band Aid
SINGLE. They were off in the country writing songs and had apready made
plans for Starvation so declined the invite. And then, because they had
declined that invitation, Uncle Bob didn't ask them to do the concert (as
far as I can remember).

As for old Seamus Beaghen (I don't think that's anywhere NEAR the correct
spelling!), he was last seen filling in for Barzo when Madness performed
Lovestruck on CD:UK. Haven't a clue what he's been up to other than that.
Didn't he get mentioned in an interview with the band last year regarding
what happened to him???
