Bands
Hiya All,
Contrary to what's been said about One Step
Behind, I went to see them a few years ago in Dundee & I thought they were
excellent - they had the whole place bouncing all night & it really made
me feel like I had experienced what it would have been like to have seen
Madness in the early days in a smaller venue,- I was never off the dancefloor
!!. - It was about 5 years ago so maybe they've went backwards a bit. Also the
lead singer was the guy who appeared as Suggs on Stars in their
Eyes.
And Simesy.....there's another tribute band
called "Badness" who I think do the caravan holiday resort circuit......i've
not seen them though.
bye the noo..............Rob W

Bands
Well, it seems to me that the overall
consensus is that the best one is Utter Madness! I had the pleasure of
seeing them at uni. They are good. The sax player is as nutty as Lee, and
their sound is as close to Madness as any Maddies could want (especially
during those dark years of 86-99!!).
Having said that, I would still go and
see all the others if they were performing locally. You can't knock it till
you've tried it and all that!
So, does that mean that there are 4
tribute bands doing the rounds?
Complete Madness
Utter Madness
One Step Behind
The Los Palmas 6
Stay Mad 8-)
Simesy
