Hey to all!
I just wanted to add my tuppence on the current 'It's Madness' and 'It's
Madness Too...' debate. I do agree that when I look at my current collection
they do seem a bit a couple of non-entities and unrequired perhaps, but when
they were released they allowed me to make a great tape for my walkman
without having to change CD's. They were a good idea at the time so I dont
really see them as being designed as an attempt to do fans out of money.
I still listen to them regularly. More so in fact than The Lot or The
Business. They're not too long, not too short and they combine the great
nutty tracks with the b-sides making it an all-round musical spectacular.
Quite a good advert I would have thought to Joe Bloggs who happens to pick
it up in a shop and see that Madness have an amazing back catalog. Besides,
the snakes and ladder game always amuses me on the original cover!
