Well, I have to say that one of my most prized Madness possessions is the
recent picture of Mike Barson that I took while he and Lee were in the
Firkin pub before the gig on the 16th. Nothing unusual there you may think,
but those who have seen it will know that Mike is sat cradling his pint of
Guinness with a HUGE smile on his face. Top stuff. I've been inundated with
requests for copies of it from Mr. B's loyal fans. Bless you all. :-)
As for my other treasured stuff, well it would have to be the editions of
'Look-In' that my best mate (sadly recently deceased)sent me. The best
things are the Madness comic strips that ran every week. I also have all the
collect-a-pages except for Mark (my Babe)and Monsieur Barzo. Cracking colour
centre pages, a 3-D picture taken from the vid for Our House and various
interviews. Several of which had featured in the old MML Madposts. They are
most treasured, not just cos of Madness featuring in them, but like i say
cos my best mate Paul (and total Mad nut)gave them to me, and sadly he
passed away 1 and a half months ago at 29. At least he's at the huge ska
party in the sky, probably discussing all things cockney with 'Uncle' Ian.
10 days to go til Crunch!!
