Well I've had a good think, and the most treasured memory in 20 years
of Madmania has to be the day I went to school and talked with friends
about Madness' long over due first Number 1!
I think it was a Wednesday, as I seem to remember that the UK chart
was published on a Tuesday afternoon back then.
I remember the rest as clear as if it was yesterday though! Sadly
(and someth8ing I still find hard to believe) It was something never
to be repeated.
A treasured memory.
