Mountain Boy reporting In Again ;
At Crunch!MadMeetStock Rich Groves & myself had the
brainwave of having a Madness Weekend sometime next year.
Quite a few people at the meet were interested ( or pissed up ).
We thought about throwing it open to TMML for ideas & input.
The idea is not to tie in with a gig as such , but just to have a nutty
weekend in a hotel full of madness fans.
We came up with & had these ideas tossed up ;
Date of event - Next Year maybe April / May / June OR Sept / Oct time
thus avoiding inflated Hotel rates for peak time holidays , and also ,
people missing out because they were on holiday themselves !
Don't want in too cold or near to Christmas either.
Location - Somewhere on the coast perhaps ? Or a tourist type place.
Blackpool , York , Torquay , Brighton , Stratford..............etc
Events - Karaoke , Madness tribute band , quiz , auction , fancy dress ,
disco , alcohol drinking galore ( as hotel residents the bar cannot close !
)
........etc.
You can of course mail the Mountain Boy Off-List with ideas and if you
are most certainly Mad For It or not as the case may be.
