Eeeeeee (as we say oop north) Thank God the Top 10 has been cleared up!! I
was out on the town on Saturday but little sis taped it being a sorted bird,
and I finally saw it on Sunday night. I was a bit put out too. Respect to
Bad Manners, they are a top band, but obviously my loyalties lie with
Madness. I had a discussion about it with my mate Goany, who rang me to tell
me that "F****in' Bad Manners were number one, man! What's f***in' going
on!?!" and we also turned to the Guiness Book of Records thing. I have the
"Hits of the 1980's" version which is invaluable for situations such as
these (can't say one has come up before, but I knew it'd come in useful!). I
too was mystified by the absence of The Jam (my second favourite band) but
hey, the point was, they were on. I'm sure there would have been a lot more
angry e-mails flying back and forth if they hadn't been in it at all...but
that would just have been (sorry) madness.( i said sorry)
