So to make up for it..

Well Jenny, i think any one who made the DFF promo rally in London town
would agree that was both funny and strange.. running round helping with
official promotion... who could forget the policewoman who followed us
with her male partner sadly) around and gave those who werent quick to hot
foot it away a wee lecture. "Haw Lads, Check oot that polis wumman, she's no
bad, i think she up for it, she's followin us aboot!!" " Who ever heard of a
good looking polis wumman ya wee...oh f*ck aye!! nice!" A few folk accosted
some famous people, while a fwe of us got a barrage of F words when the wee
guy who sells papers at the crossroads in Camden town turned the air blue
when we asked him to display a poster.
Again, anyone who was at the inaugrual McMadmeet here in Glasgow will
remember us being asked to leave the new shopping mall, Buchanan Galleries,
due to a certain list mods brothers CD player, blaring out Drip Fed Fred on
repeat!!! On that same meet, we popped into a bar/ music venue called the
13th Note. As the bevvy flowed, each time one of us needed a slash, we'd
take a pile of 'Vote for Fred' fliers and take it in turns to stick them up
in the toilets. At the end of our stay the toilets walls were covered in
Vote for Fred posters. Musta been some very confused cleaners in that club!
Not many people can say they've marched round Glasgow handing out 'Vote For
Fred' leaflets with DFF blasting out from a CD player in a bag. I'm sure all
there would agree, that that was sheer class!!
For my bit, i did the fly postering down the road near the pub. From one end
of the village to the pub itself, plastered in VFF posters....Street lights,
signposts..the local shop had a few stuck to its signs, the pub toilet was
also targeted...
So thats my story on that....great fun and laughs were had on each
occasion...and if another single ever came out i'd do it all again!
