Hawdehaw!!
Indeed folks, it is a year to the very night of Madness playing an
outstanding gig at Newcastle on the Maddest Show On Earth Tour. Those of you
who went will know what a stoating laugh it was!! Infact at this very moment
last year, i think, we were leaving the Chinese Restaurant (Sharpish in my
case) full to the brim with chinese sausages, and of course drink. Rob W was
nursing his sore head after a wee bang...;-)
What a great day that was, the first night seeing Madness on a tour for me.
>From the very start of the day, me standing shadily outside the casino in
Glasgow waiting for Iain, the non-existent hire car, the dash to the trai
station... the bevvy on the train.. getting told to watch our language after
complaints..then being christened ' Micky Pierce ' and to the gig itself-
sensational!! Then the end of the night, myself and Iain creeping in cat
burglar style in order to kip on the floor of Mr.Gs B&B room..ahh the
memories!!
So a big hello to all who went to the gig and meets!
And totally unrelated but cool anyway, walking by a unit in the breahead
retail park today, one of them hada lathered up window..the usual smiley
faces.. but a perfectly drawn M of One Step Beyond album fame.. class..made
me chuckle..
