That's good to haer. I haven't really traded too many Madness tapes,
but in my experience from trading other things, it really does help
prevent people from buyng botlegs. Why buy an overpriced illegal
release if someone can copy their tape version for you for nowt?
Occasionally I've heard of artists and their assocaites helping with
this. Sadly, a few things have leaked from the tape trading circuit
into bootleggers posession, but overall I believe the trading scene is
a good alternate for people searching for something different-provided
the artists in question don't
mind.
