Hi Jeff
Sounds like a specifically NY kinda thing, either that or a lack of people with phones
that divert after a short number of rings to voicemail! People I know are more
fascinated with getting the latest handset and sending SMS's to each other instead!
I work for a mobile phone carrier here in Sydney, yet I am the only one I know who has
OSB as a ring tone, which does lead to people playing "name that tune", and possibly
the only bit of Madness advertising done in Sydney at least for a number of years!
I honestly attempt to get to my phone before it rings out, but searching through the
bottomless black hole which I know as a handbag isn't always that easy, and no, it
doesn't ring the whole song either. I tend to get more annoyed with people who are
actually doing something a little more injurious e.g. smoking right near a 6 months
pregnant woman, Jr doesn't want to be a passive smoker!
My 5 cents worth (we don't have 1's and 2's and anyway, our dollar is worth less than
the coaster you rest your beer on!)
Leese
p.s. if someone is listening to a call I'm making/receiving, I tend to throw in good
lines such as "If you keep on using the cream, maybe the rash will go away...."
