Hi nutbrains,
I just happened on the Bad Manners web site (http://www.badmanners.net ) and
theres a small announcement regarding the big man's health. If you remember
it was reported here on the list a couple of months back by Iain "Armani"
Mason that he had collapsed on stage. All sorts of rumours went flying about
in the press as a result. The BM drummer, Carlton, says they are also doing
a spring clean of the site and are trying to get it to a state where it is
reflecting accurate news about tours etc.
BUSTERS HEALTH.
"Finally a chance to put peoples minds at rest and give an honest account of
Buster's health situation. Buster is currently in a health farm after being
thoroughly assessed by doctors upon return from the Italian tour. He did not
have a heart attack but did have a minor collapse on stage in Turin, this
was due mainly to complications with his hernia. He has been advised that he
get himself under 20 stone before an operation can be considered. He has
been at the health farm for 8 days and has already lost nearly 3 stone. He
is still in some discomfort but is on the road to recovery and will be
honouring all future commitments. Whilst continuing his diet and fitness
regime he has been greatly heartened and encouraged by all the get well
messages received in the Guestbook and asked me personally to thank everyone
for their kind thoughts, Buster will come out fighting and hopes to make Bad
Manners future tours and releases even bigger and better than before. "
So its good news!
Regards,
Mr.G
