Hi Mr G, I've got studies to examine but thought I'd read the TMML instead.
I totally agree as I've met (and still meet) so many people who did'nt know
Madness were back with Wonderful, even in the music industry. The worst bit
is that because they have'nt heard any new stuff they assume it was a flop.

Like yourself this pisses me off as I feel that this is possibly one of the
reasons there is currently so much iffing and butting about what the band
are/will be up to now. Although I can understand and respect any doubts
about getting on with it I'd still get Dave Robinson back in and lock them
up in a room together like he did before. I don't see what harm there is in
trying as if the results are not good enough -then it need no be released,
when I say this I'm primarily thinking of the new views to Madness' song
writing, i.e. Bedders and Chrissy Boy being apprehensive about writing new
stuff, that and the view that only certain members should write together as
was mentioned in "Wonderful" related interviews e.g. Barson/Thompson. Does
this mean no more In The City's?

Anyhow it would be great to think that if Suggs was phoned by another of the
7 with the line - "I've got this great idea for a song" that things could
start moving, lets face it Jools convinced him so it should'nt be that hard
for the others.

This is only an opinion, as despite rumours, nothing has been confirmed re:
Madness, and despite opportunities to put the record straight such as when
Jools/Steve Wright has asked Suggs of new Madness stuff the now familiar
'ifs and buts' have been heard. In todays market of promotional pushes
you've got to let the people know.

Well, its only an opinion

All the Best,
             Alan.
