Hi all,
I've been reading all the posts and just thought I'd add to it all. What
Alan was saying about Wonderful is true. Loads of people just haven't even
heard of it and if you tell them they have a look of complete shock as
though the lads should have been put out to pasture and they couldn't
possibly have anything of value to put out and must just be desperate for
cash. Outrageous. Also I thought that Wonderful was a good album without a
bad track on it. I mean as an obvious choice The Communicator was just
classic Madness. If they're still writing stuff like this there's nae danger
they shouldn't all be sitting down together and seeing what happens.
Anyway onto another subject and that's hearing Madness. I'm currently
working nightshift on an oil platform in the north sea and one of the
veryfew radio stations we get here is Virgin. Just about every night you get
at least one Madness song and one night this trip they played three. Not bad
considering the usual shite on Virgin.
Lastly congrats to Rick on the birth of his daughter. My daughter is called
Madison for the sole reason we can call her Maddie. Sad but true. If she'd
been a boy I wanted to call her Suggs but I was struggling to convince the
missus about this one. Anyway better go and do some work.
See ya
Gazzy boy.
