Hi all, I saw a No Doubt interview on MTV yesterday and they said they might be over to do a UK Tour between August and October, where is the Madness in this?
I think this is a great opportunity for the boys to do a UK (and finally Ireland) Tour with them, increasing their fanbase and what with No Doubt being the darlings of the likes of MTV and Radio 1 some of it may rub off, at the very least No Doubt could provide support at Madstock if there is one, and there should be. I'm sure No Doubt would themselves be delighted to meet up with Madness again. The timing of this would be perfect and would also be great in terms of the upcoming musical. Furthermore its the perfect excuse for a new Madness album.
Also with Queen ( and big Madness fan Ben Elton) and Boy George amongst others also planning musicals it would be nice to avoid a Virgin like balls up that we saw with Wonderful. And in response to earlier e-mails I agree that Madness should do a festival or two this year, i.e. Glastonbury.
