| Hi everyone Complete Madness Weekend I have received confirmation from Butlins to say that we are able to hold our 'Madness Weekend' at the 'Bognor Regis' resort in November. I am sorry that it has taken so long to finally give you information about this years meet, but Butlins have only just decided that this weekend is going ahead. Mountain Boy and I did also feel that this 'Complete Madness' weekend was the best place to hold it this years meet. The new Butlins brochure which will be out next week, will have all details of the weekend in it. The 'Complete Madness' three day break will be held from Friday 15th - Monday 18th November. There will be live bands on all three nights {yet to be confirmed} including Bad Manners, The Selector and tribute bands such as The Specials, The Jam, The Police, and Complete Madness. Once the bands have played, there are various nightclubs to go to, all of which stay open until about 03:00am if I remember correctly! {I've normally had a few sherbets by this time, and just remember skating on dry ice.....long story........don't ask!} Auction We have hired a room where we will be able to hold our auction. Madness have kindly donated and signed many things for the auction, and Adele has also managed to obtain a few rarities for us too. Most of the things that were signed for auction were witnessed by myself and Mountain Boy in Rotterdam. We will also be putting up posters around Butlins to advertise the auction. This is so that people who are not on the TMML will also be able to bid for items, and hopefully we will raise more money for CancerBACUP. Bookings After speaking to staff at Butlins, they have suggested that people should make their own bookings, rather than Mountain Boy and I making a group booking, as it will be easier for everyone involved. I did say that I know a few people may be coming on their own, so Butlins suggested that if those people want to contact me, I can compile a list of people who need to share accommodation with others. I will try and put 3 - 4 people in an apartment. {I hope this makes sense!} As I may have mentioned before now, a few of us went to this event back in March, and had a fantastic time. This is a great place to hold our Madness Weekend, as not only will the members of TMML be able to dance away until the small hours listening to their favourite music, you'll also be able to meet up with hundreds of like-minded people and maybe make a few more friends! Apartments In March, my friends and I stayed in self catering apartments, which had a kitchen {with a microwave, kettle, cups plates etc} and a seating area with a TV. One of my friends had booked premiere class, which included your meals in the price, but they had no means of making a cup of tea or toast if they were peckish after a good night out, as there was no kitchen area. There are a couple of restaurants and pubs on site, as well as fast food outlets. There is even a supermarket so my friends and I stocked up on frozen pizza in case we had the munchies when we strolled in at 05:00am! Price List The prices for the weekend are: �64 per person for self-catering. �105 per person for half board. �121 per person for premiere.
