You have been subscribed to a public bug:
When the UI for the SIM PIN was initially implemented, the ofono
SimManager's PinRequired property successfully changed from "pin" to
"puk" after 3 failed attempts in entering the correct PIN. This is not
the case any more and the API keeps on telling it would require the PIN.
This has high potential of destroying SIM cards and has happened to
unity team members already.
