Title:
pulseaudio respawns madly after a logout/login

Status in pulseaudio package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  In raring, login, logout, login.
I repeatedly hear the chirp (or whatever that noise is) when pulseaudio keeps
respawning. It does it a load of times then stops.
Doesn't tend to do it on a clean boot.
