ok, I was doing some testing and this appears to be fixed already in the
lastest RTM devel image
i suspect the indactor polish branch corrected.
if not, please reopen but with better instructions or a video as it means i
didn't quite understand.

How to reproduce
===============
1 - Make sure that you have a missing call/voice mail message on messaging
menu
2 - Open dialer app
3 - Open the messaging menu
4 - Click to expand the message
5 - Click on the phone app icon in the top right
Expected
========
The messaging menu disappear and the dialer app appears
Current
======
The message is removed but the messaging menu still visible.
