Thank you for submitting this bug and reporting a problem with cups and
printing. You made this bug report some time ago and Ubuntu has been updated
since then.
Could you confirm that this is no longer a problem and that we can close the
ticket?
If it is still a problem, are you still interested in finding a solution to
this bug?
If you are, could you let us know, and in the current version, run the
following (only once):
apport-collect BUGNUMBER
and upload the updated logs and and any other logs that are relevant for this
particular issue.

HP Officejet will not print in Bk only after udate

Bug description:
I set my printer to black ink only at 300 DPI and have never had a
problem until the last update. Every time the printer will print in
color draft mode only no matter what print settings are chosen. 600
dpi black ink only, grey scale or what ever. I deleted and
reinstalled the printer and it still will only print color. I am
tired of wasting ink.
I use 9.04 and would load 4.10 if the video drivers were stable.
