Title:
Printer starts job from beginning after system suspend/resume
Status in cups package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
While I was printing a 40 pages job on a Canon Pixma 2450 the system
suspended and the printer stopped in the middle of a page. After
resume, I had to start the printer in the "Printer" dialog (control
panel), because it was paused. Immediatly the printer started the job
("in progress") from the first page instead of the last page sent to
the printer.
I think cups should either prevent system suspend or continue at the
last page (double-page if duplex enabled) after resume.
