Bug description:
The test sound pulses rapidly.
Music tracks play in a patchy manner and at a fast pace.
Using Ubuntu 10.10; alsa-base 1.0.23+dfsg-1ubuntu4, kernel 2.6.35-22.
When I switch to kernel 2.6.32-25 sound reproduction is flawless.
