My microphone does not work in ubuntu lucid

Bug description:
i don't have microphone in Ubuntu lucid , I hope this report is not too late
and until the final release the problem disappears.
I'm Checking volume levels with "alsamixer" Command.
All volume associated with the microphone (Front mic,mic, mic boost) is at
the highest.

in sound Preferences my input volume is zero .

And of course, I test my microphone In practice with sound recorder! the
input audio is zero
