Title:
  USB speakers not detected

Status in alsa-driver package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  I am currently having a problem with alsa configuring my USB speakers.
  The speakers I am using with my system are Bose Companion 5 USB
  speakers.  I have had this bug before on several different versions of
  Ubuntu and it tends to be intermittent.  When I first installed 10.10
  my speakers would not initialize, and after a few updates and several
  reboots the speakers started working.  Then after loosing power to my
  laptop, recharging it, and restarting it they stopped working again.
  At the end of the ALSA diagnostic under !!ALSA/HDA dmesg it lists what
  seems to be my problem:

  Does anyone know what this error message refers to?
