Bug description:
My Asus u50f laptop came with Windows 7 which I promptly removed and
installed Ubuntu 10.10, however I'm unable to use my microphone to record
anything since installing Ubuntu, and I'm beginning to miss it. To the best of
my knowledge this device is not muted in any of the many applications to
control sound/volume. ls -l /dev/dsp* shows no devices.
