Title:
[HP Pavilion dv6 Notebook PC, IDT 92HD75B3X5, Speaker, Internal]
System sounds disappear after testing event sounds
Status in alsa-driver package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
Hi,
if I play the event sounds listed in the sound "gnome-contorl-center" windows
(the one which appears choosing "Audio settings" under the sound icon in the
tray), all event sounds disappear. I can't get startup. login or simple event
sound. I can reproduce the bug creating a new user (everything works fine) and
then playing one of the sounds in the list.
Suggestions?
