Title:
  Audio is popping/clipping in Ocelot

Status in alsa-driver package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
I am hearing popping and clicking while playing some MP3 files. These
files may be on the loud side, but the source material is definitely
not overdriven. I am using the default audio configuration. I have
tried uninstalling Pulse and outputting directly to Alsa, with the
exact same results. This problem did not occur on Narwhal, which had
the same default out-of-the-box audio configuration. Suspect the in-
  kernel sound driver.
