[ATIIXP - ATI IXP, playback] No sound at all, toshiba laptop

Bug description:
Fresh install, clean hard drive, Ubuntu 11.04 (day of release). Had
audio during testing from CD, but once full install completed, no
audio. Also, laptop completely dies once in awhile, as if the power
was disconnected, but battery is full, and AC adaptor working. Tried
adding additional drivers, but only the wireless card showed up
needing one. No showing/done updates as of yet. Similar problem on
another machine getting same disto (11.04) no sound, plus I have
another Toshiba laptop to install this disto on still!
