Title:
[NFORCE - NVidia nForce2] Audio does not play back in Rhythmbox
Status in alsa-driver package in Ubuntu:
Expired
Bug description:
Occasionally when beginning playback of a file in Rhythmbox, the CPU
spikes to 100% and either shows stuttering progress on the the
playback counter with no audio, or plays several seconds of distortion
before the CPU drops down and the music begins playing. Does not
happen consistently with the same files, and attempting to play the
same file back to back can have different results. I am using S/PDIF
out to a receiver.
