Title:
[VIA VT1702] Recording problem/Sound plays through speakers and
headphones
Status in alsa-driver package in Ubuntu:
Expired
Bug description:
Whenever i try to listen to audio with headphones plugged in, the
speakers play as well. If i install gnome-alsamixer, i can manually
mute the speakers, but it is a pain and i hope this bug is fixed. i am
almost sure that it is a compatibility problem with my hardware
because i have Ubuntu installed on other computers/laptops and audio
works perfectly. it might also be a problem with pulseaudio, but i am
unsure of this as i am a little inexperienced. here is the apt-cache
for pulseaudio:
pulseaudio:
Installed: 1:0.9.22~0.9.21+stable-queue-32-g8478-0ubuntu21.1
