Bug description:
I just installed Ubuntu Maverick on a new Asus Eee PC Seashell 1215T
and sound has several issues. The most important is that there seems
to be no way to capture. There is supposed to be an internal
microphone, and there is also an external microphone input jack, but
with or without a microphone plugged in, there is no sound even when I
turn the input volume on maximum in the "Sound Preferences" dialogue.
There is only one choice for input, "Internal Audio Analog Stereo,"
which is checked. For the hardware, I have selected the "Internal
Audio" with 1 input and 1 output, not the HDMI output.
