Hello Simon, or anyone else affected, Accepted tzdata into jammy-proposed. The package will build now and be available at https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/tzdata/2022f-0ubuntu0.22.04.1 in a few hours, and then in the -proposed repository.
