unmkinitramfs is normally used on initrds that were created with
mkinitramfs. unmkinitramfs will be able to decompress the initrd created
by mkinitramfs (unless the used compressor is removed in between).

The compression can be configured by the user and is zstd by default
currently. initramfs-tools-core recommends zstd. Should it suggest lz4
and the other compressors?
