Title:
  Images to video, skipping images

Status in libav package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
In the man page for avconv, it says...

For creating a video from many images:

                     avconv -f image2 -i foo-%03d.jpeg -r 12 -s WxH
  foo.avi

But this creates a video file where most of the images are skipped over.
Only one out of every 8-10 frames are used.
