I always read "later in 09" as meaning: at the last possible second that we can ship it and still claim we delivered it in 09. This is not just Logitech, I use phrases like this.
There was one poor guy who took retail delivery (by mistake) of a Touch before it was even announced, and nobody could help the guy because of the NDAs that were signed. When the Radio was announced for sale, the Touch was mentioned as being available Real Soon Now. But I didn't read that to mean you could actually order and expect to get on. I'd be amazed if there are normal retail channel versions in the next few weeks. Perhaps on Boxing Day. Note: I have zero inside information, and do not speak for Logitech/SlimDevices.
