Great thread here. I've toyed with the idea of putting a Slim Devices player in my car ever since my first SliMP3 but have never done it.
I would be fine using my iPod touch in the car... IF IT WAS USABLE IN LANDSCAPE!!! For years I have been annoyed at the ridiculous cover flow of the iPod touch. You flip it landscape where there is MORE width and they display it in the same font size with 1/2 of the screen essentially unused. The iPod touch would be perfect in landscape with large fonts and navigation buttons.
