I believe that Inguz on sbs can do this. It has a variable width control. Yes it would change both analogue and digital outputs. Bit-perfect replay would be lost of course (no matter where the volume control was set). However, if I was using headphones as a primary listening tool and listening to lots of tracks (rather than whole albums) I would definitely be using ReplayGain (smartgain) anyway. -- Phil Leigh You want to see the signal path BEFORE it gets onto a CD/vinyl...it ain't what you'd call minimal...
