That can be it, it is probably sonos high prices that drives the pricing everywhere for the competition. A case study for dysfunctional markets would be the Swedish high end hifi and hifi market, price fixing cartells and whatnots. This would also make it possible to have a higher price on a squeezebox in Sweden as it competes with overpriced CD players not only other streaming boxes, as a streaming solution is a minoroty right now they all compete against traditional hifi and multiroom, multiroom installs, and the prices of those things. In the End it is even more complex it competes with completely unrelated stuff to. -- Mnyb -------------------------------------------------------------------- Main hifi: Touch + CIA PS +MeridianG68J and assorted amps SiriuS, Classe'Primare and Dynadio speakers (including a pair of Contour 4 ) Bedroom/Office: Boom Kitchen: SB3 + powered Fostex PM0.4 Miscellaneous use: Radio (with battery) I use a Controller various ir-remotes and a Eee-PC with squeezeplay to control this ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Mnyb's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=4143 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=77371 _______________________________________________ Touch mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/touch
