For any company that stays in business, this never happens. Again its
not discriminatory pricing, its the price that market will bear. The
Touch IS selling in Europe. And from what has been said, demand is VERY
high. If the units are not moving then supply builds up and the price
goes down so that product starts to move. If Supply and Demand
economics are allowed to function freely hand in hand with Market
Driven Pricing, the price will settle out at what the public is willing
to pay to keep a demand present so that that demand requires more units
to be manufactured.

People might be complaining about the current EU price, but have you
noticed that hasn't stopped all buying nor relieved the amount of
bitching about the Touch being out of stock or not available? If the
price were so outrageous, who would care whether it was available or
out of stock? Nobody.

There are several EU products that I really like such as speakers and
audio components. I don't buy them because I feel the price is to
outrageous for the small performance increase and then on heavy
speakers I get slammed again on shipping and handling.
