Hi there The usage of JVC DVD IR codes is an ancient thing going back to the very first device, SLIMP3 from Slim Devices, when there wasn't a dedicated IR remote and a Sony remote (being able to use JVC DVD IR codes) was bundled with the device.
Up until SB Boom the old JVC DVD IR codes were supported but for the most recent two devices SB Radio and SB Touch the old IR codes have not been implemented anymore. Sorry.
