What would N give the Touch?  Both have the same security support.

The "extra" range that an N router gives is not dependent on the
clients being N or G.

If you think having a G client on an N router would degrade the
performance of the N then I would suggest getting a multi-band router. 
However I do not think the performance impact of a G device is that
great.  Not like it was with B device on a G network.
