Yeah, that is normal and intended. It ships with one year old factory FW, connects to MySB.com upon initial setup, downloads the latest FW from MySB. I thought you may have been saying it had the latest 7.5 FW when you unboxed it, which would have clearly indicated it was actually used and returned. It is clear this is not the case.
