I wonder if Samba is being shut down, perhaps any time that TinySC is
shut down.  The starting of Samba at bootup came after the original
design.  Originally it was only started and stopped with TinySC.

Or maybe it's simply crashing.  When TinySC is running and available
memory is virtually nil, everything on the Touch is so unstable that
anything can happen.  I'd say that about 1/3rd of the time that I try
to connect to shares on the Touch, it's not available.
