Agree. But my TC-7520, even without LM4562NA opamps, was also supposed to be a giant killer which "takes no prisoners", and very different from the TC-7510's mk1, mk2 ... until mk6, each mk being a noticeable improvement ... And the TC-7510 mk1 was supposed to be a serious improvement over the SB3 ... At least my TC-7520 works perfectly, and never suffered hums and clicking problems. Those problems are apparently not so rare with the caiman. May be after all different tremendous improvements of various TC-7510's, and the TC-7520 giant killer, all that was piece of cake, and the "real" thing is the caiman I don't own ... But everything which is said about the caiman, was said about TC-7520, TC-7510's and all their various upgrades ... I don't think those dacs are bad, and they are actually good. But I am surprised to hear so much hype about them, while I am clearly not the only one to fond them acceptable for their price, no more, and nothing exceptional -- nicolas75 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ nicolas75's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=15823 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=78534 _______________________________________________ Touch mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/touch
