Agree.

But my TC-7520, even without LM4562NA opamps, was also supposed to be a
giant killer which "takes no prisoners", and very different from the
TC-7510's mk1, mk2 ... until mk6, each mk being a noticeable
improvement ...
And the TC-7510 mk1 was supposed to be a serious improvement over the
SB3 ...

At least my TC-7520 works perfectly, and never suffered hums and
clicking problems.
Those problems are apparently not so rare with the caiman.

May be after all different tremendous improvements of various
TC-7510's, and the TC-7520 giant killer, all that was piece of cake,
and the "real" thing is the caiman I don't own ...

But everything which is said about the caiman, was said about TC-7520,
TC-7510's and all their various upgrades ...

I don't think those dacs are bad, and they are actually good.
But I am surprised to hear so much hype about them, while I am clearly
not the only one to fond them acceptable for their price, no more, and
nothing exceptional
