Got my Touch yesterday, big improvement sonically over SB3! Anyway, as a non techie kind of person, can I ask if I can just plug my 320 gig HDD into the Touch?
When I connect my laptop via ethernet to it, I have to prompt the HDD into life, so how doe I go about "waking it up" if I connect directly to the Touch? I did try yesterday when I got it, to try and connect the HDD directly, and it showed all the albums in the HDD, but would not open the files to enable it to play. I had not at that stage done a re scan, simply because the file letter could not be found.
