Just because one person has a positive experience with a particular drive, does that guarantee that it will be problem-free for all users? >From what I gather, there are numerous issues that can lead to potential problems. While several people have recommended self-powered drives so as not to overburden the Touch, there are others who report equally good results with their USB-powered models.
