I'm getting it when playing a Random Mix, so it's the latter (processing). I've posted this before, but thought I was missing something, so I'm trying again. The player is starting the 1st song very fast, then re-buffers as it builds the list (I think). The fix should be for TinySC to wait until the playlist of 10 songs was built before playing started.
