Although the second sentence sounds definitive, I believe he felt compelled to make that assumption, because it made sense to him. We have no idea what the quantity any retailer has on hand. Just because Amazon has them today, doesn't mean they will tomorrow, or next week... I also wouldn't be surprised to see it back at Crutchfield.
